The TIFF format is the professional standard file type for professional photography. It stores images with full image accuracy and supports very high bit depths. The trade off is storage — a one TIFF image from a DSLR is often 50 to 100 megabytes. To upload and publish TIFF images, changing them to JPG greatly decreases file size while maintai
